Frequently Asked Questions
Get answers to frequently asked questions about our pediatric therapy services, accepted insurance, onboarding process, and more. If you have further questions, don’t hesitate to contact us.
Is pediatric therapy covered by insurance?
Pediatric speech, occupational, and physical therapy are covered by most insurance plans when medically necessary. Circle of Care is in-network with most Medicaid plans as well as many commercial insurance plans. Commercial policies may vary and coverage is dependent on your individual plan.
How do I get started with services for my child?
Complete the Get Treatment Now form on our website or give us a call. Our team will walk you through the process and collect the information needed to obtain a referral from your doctor’s office. Some insurance plans require a recent visit to the pediatrician, or physicians may prefer to see your child for a visit before providing the referral. At the visit, you can simply explain that you'd like your child to receive services with Circle of Care.
Do you have therapists in my area?
Circle of Care provides pediatric therapy services throughout the state of Texas in San Antonio, Dallas-Ft. Worth, Austin, Houston, El Paso, Corpus, Laredo, Killeen and surrounding areas. We continue to expand in order to serve more children and families in need. If you don't see your area listed, feel free to reach out through our contact form to let us know where you are located and if Circle of Care has amazing therapists in your area.
What age range of children do you work with?
We treat children from birth through age 20.
How long and how often will my child need therapy?
Since all treatment is individualized, duration and frequency of treatment will be determined by your child's specific needs, as well as any limitations within insurance. Once the therapist has completed the initial evaluation and your child's test scores indicate therapy services are needed, a Plan of Care will be sent to your child's primary care physician for review and approval, then submitted to insurance for service authorization.
Do you provide bilingual services?
Yes, we have Spanish speaking office staff and therapists to assist with all of your child’s needs. We can also hire a translator for other languages based on availability.
