Rehabilitation can be required for a number of reasons: as part of a post-operative care program, following an accident or physical injury, recovery from illness or in certain cases of severe emotional trauma.
Kids are generally very resilient, and will often respond well to rehabilitation; recovering physical strength rapidly and ‘moving on’ from a physical or emotional setback generally more quickly than anxious parents. Our work in pediatric rehab helps to ensure that recovery is structured and, where possible, complete.
Physical therapy in children’s rehabilitation plays a key role in strengthening weak muscles, increasing a range of motion and will often provide a sense of emotional well being and positivity.
All of our physical therapy is carried out by our fully trained and licensed professionals.
Our Physical therapists provide specific rehabilitative exercise programs that focus on both physical and psychological improvement. This specialist area of therapy is just one example of our diverse and highly focused service.
